Do you have a required vendors list?
We do not have required vendors, but do have a pre-approved vendors list. If you want to use a vendor not on our list then they must be approved by The Kincaid House 60 days in advance of the event. There is also no fee if using a vendor not on our list.
Can we swing by or stop in anytime?
Unfortunately, no. We host multiple events, showings, etc. every week and out of respect to those guests we kindly ask that you make an appointment through our contact form, email, phone or text.
Where is the parking for guests? I saw something about valets…
Towards the back of the venue property sits a 1.5 acre field that can accommodate close to 100 cars. We do require valet parking for any event over 50 guests. The valets are paid separately at $100 per valet with 2 at minimum required.
Is there space to get ready at the venue?
Yes! We have a lovely and private bridal suite located on the second floor of the main house. There is also a second dressing area located in an adjoining building.
Is alcohol allowed?
Yes, we do allow alcohol. For weddings and events we require you to hire a licensed bartending service or caterer with the appropriate license and insurance. We do not allow freelance uninsured bartenders. Also, if liquor is served we require a security officer. The officer is an additional cost however we do secure them for you.
Do you allow candles?
Yes, we do allow candles as long as they are enclosed by glass and with the flame a minimum of 4” below the top of the cylinder.
What if it rains?
Our courtyard is covered by a 30’x50’ semi-permanent tent structure.
Do I have to have a security guard?
Only when liquor is served.
