Kincaid House timeless wedding venue

Established in 1932

The Kincaid House, a Barber McMurry-designed Dutch Colonial home, was built in the early 1930s. Its gazebo and garden walls are constructed from stone extracted from the Norris Dam project. It sits atop four beautiful acres and boasts a unique, stone tower gazebo that looks out to a formal, stone-walled English garden.

The Kincaid House gazebo creates the perfect backdrop for wedding vows and photography of all kinds.  The stone paths in its garden lead to a reflective, bubbling fountain, creating a peaceful setting for weddings and receptions.

The home was built for Mr. and Mrs. Carl S. Kincaid. The garden boasts holly, cypress, hydrangea, crepe myrtle, and English boxwood. The Kincaid family owned Magnet Mills, a hosiery mill in downtown Clinton. Both the home and gardens have been featured in several publications and the house plans are showcased in The East Tennessee History Center.

Meet The Owners

Knoxville Tennessee Wedding Venue

Our Dream is to Make Your Dream a Reality.

Josh and Ryan have been the proud owners of The Kincaid House since March of 2021.  When touring the property with the lovely previous owner, they were immediately struck by the beauty of the place and inspired by the happy moments that had been created here. They knew this was the perfect setting for their dream — to help others’ dreams come true.

Their vision to operate a wedding venue dates back to their wedding in Knoxville in 2017. They discovered what a joy it was to work with vendors and create a welcoming and memorable experience for their guests. Josh and Ryan decided then this was what they loved.

Josh is an East Tennessee native and UT alum (Go Vols!), and Ryan hails from Eastern Kentucky. Both owners value hospitality and professionalism. Their passion is to make someone’s special day a unique and stress-free experience. They care about the families they serve and warmly support them throughout the planning process and the day of their event.

Josh and Ryan welcome their guests to explore the wonder and beauty of The Kincaid House.
